The Church of Classic Rock Join the Reverend Jeff Smith in peering through the smoke and mirrors of modern politics to find the truth! March 29th is Smoke and Mirrors Day, but rather than focus on the magic side, we're going to look at how the theory is being used in modern politics. The Rev will explain how it's related, and then delve into the biggest smoke and mirrors attempt of the modern age: Q-Anon. He'll talk about where it all started (and how), why it's so insidious, what can be done to combat the damage it's doing to the American political and social landscape and, finally, he'll discuss the difference between regular conspiracy theories (which can be somewhat entertaining) and the dangerous mind-f*ck that is Q-Anon. February 11th is "Get Out Your Guitar Day" so you should do just that! In honor of the role the guitar has played in classic rock, the Reverend will offer you some suggestions on how to celebrate the day, look at the history of the guitar, explain the health benefits science has identified that come from playing the guitar, look at three different "Top-5" lists of rock 'n roll guitarists, and finally the Rev'll explain his tortured relation ship with the guitar throughout his life (thus far, at least).
