November 5th is Gunpowder Day in Great Britain, a day to remember the plot by Guy Fawkes to blow up Parliament, an act of rebellion that, while perhaps understandable in theory, was fortunately uncovered and stopped. But November 6th is our own day of Rebellion, in a much more civilized way, of course.
