Celebrated each year on August 19th, National Aviation Day commemorates the birth of Orville Wright, one of the brothers who first demonstrated that mankind could fly through the air! The Rev'll talk about the day itself, the history of mankind's attempt to emulate the birds that was the lead-up, what happened on that fateful day in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, how aviation has changed in the last half-century, and he'll end with some musing on his experiences with air travel.
