The Church of Classic Rock December 25th - The Happiest Holidays Whether it's Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Yule, something else, or nothing at all, the end of the year tends to be a time for celebrations. In the Church of Classic Rock, we honor any and all choices of celebratory style (as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, that is). Join the Reverend as he looks at the traditions behind several holidays in and around December, and how several seem to intertwine. Maybe it will help put you into "the holiday spirit," even if that's just ignoring the whole thing (we don't judge). :) Episode Playlist: December 18th, 2016 |

The Church of Classic Rock December 18th - Games Day Tuesday, December 20th, is Games Day. Started in England, and quickly being adopted in the USA, the day celebrates games of all kinds. Being who he is, the Reverend decided to take this theme and run with it, expanding the definition of "games" to both those played for enjoyment and those played for power, as well as how to enjoy the good games and neutralize the bad ones. In the end, remember that games are supposed to be fun, and if you're not enjoying the game, it's probably better to step back than to continue to try to play, or worse, try to start a similar game of your own!
