The Church of Classic Rock May 14th - Third Shift Workers Day Saturday, May 13th, is Third Shift Workers Day. Most of us "day" people don't often think about those who keep our society going in the overnight hours, but they do the job we won't (or can't), so this is all about singing their praises. Third shift workers face problems and hurdles that we don't, and yet they do what needs to be done. The Reverend Jeff Smith talks about their day, the issues they face, some stories from the night shift, tips on keeping healthy and sane if you're working third shift, and finally some personal observations on "those who work the night" and why he admires them.
