The Church of Classic Rock Join the Reverend Jeff Smith for a day established to encourage and appreciate all those who donate blood! June 14th is World Blood Donor Day, created by the World Health Organization. The Rev will discuss ways you can celebrate the day, including some that aren't so obvious, dig into the history of blood transfusions, share some stories from people whose lives have been saved by blood donations, what exactly is done with donated blood, and he'll share some personal stories related to needing blood donations.
